Each person proceeds to tap their nails gently into the stump – the game has not begun yet!
Tap the nails only as much as is required to make them stand upright.
Choose a person whose name begins with an A, give them the hammer, and let the hammer game begin!
How To Play Stump Drinking Game
It’s a rather simple yet thrilling game to play.
Whether it’s played in a garden or as a campfire drinking game, it is equally enjoyable in all outdoor settings.
The player with the hammer actually does anything while everyone else spectates until the hammer is passed, and it is their turn.
Having chosen a person to go first, here’s how the game begins and progresses:
- The person whose turn it is grabs the hammer and has three choices:
- Flip the hammer into the air in front of themselves to get 1 swing of the hammer
- Flip the hammer under their leg in front of themselves to get a couple of swings
- Flipping the hammer behind their back and then catching it to earn three swings.
2. Once the player has chosen any of the options, they are awarded the number of swings (1,2 or 3) at other players’ nails in the stump.
3. Whoever’s nail is hit (even once) will have to drink.
4. Once a player’s nail has disappeared into the stump, they have to kill their drink!
Last man standing, who’s comparatively least drunk, and not yet nailed, is declared the winner of this stump drinking game!
