Stairway to Heaven is a variation of quarters in which players bounce quarters off the table and into cups that increase in size.

Gear
One of each of the below per player
- shot glass
- plastic cup
- beer glass
- tall beer mug/ pitcher
- quarter
Setup
Arrange cups in front of each player from smallest to tallest. (starting with the shot glass, then the plastic cup and so on) Fill each with beer (less if desired).
How To Play Stairway To Heaven
Players do not take turns in Stairway to Heaven. Each player tries to sink the quarter into the smallest glass as fast as possible. Once sunk they must pass the drink to the player of their choice. This player cannot continue to shoot until they consume the contents of the glass. The player who sunk the glass may move on to the next glass in the chain. As glasses get bigger players will take longer to consume. (and longer to sink as the cup is taller and therefore should be a harder shot). Once a player is finished their lineup they are safe from getting drinks passed to them.
If you do not have a variety of glassware alternatively you can use the same style of glass but elevate the ones further down the line. Another popular alternative is to stack red solo cups to make higher cups.
