Dodge Beer

Learn how to play dodge beer/ beer ball. Dodge Beer (in some regions known as beer ball) mixes elements of beer pong and dodgeball to create a fast-paced, beer chugging drinking game. Dodge Beer is a competitive 2 vs. 2 drinking game. Due to the competitive nature of this game it is great as a beer olympics event, or in a tournament. Players who excel in this game will have accuracy, precision and a fast beer chug. If these qualities are not ones that you acquire, try a different game such as Beer Hockey.

Gear

• One unopened beer can per player
• Beer Pong Table
• Beer Pong Ball

Setup Dodge Beer

Split players into two teams of two. Players stand across from each other at table like they would in a game of Beer Pong. Each player places an unopened can of beer in the corner of the table in front of them.

How to Play Dodge Beer/ Beer Ball

1. Unlike most drinking games the object of Dodge Beer is to finish your beer before the opposing team.
2. Players alternate turns throwing the ping pong ball at the other team’s beer cans.
3. If a player misses it is the other teams turn.
4. If a player hits the opposing beer can they must open the beer in front of them (if it has not been previously opened) and begin chugging it as fast as they can.
5. While the player is chugging the opposing team must now retrieve the ball (after hitting the can it would have ricocheted off and went flying somewhere into the room).
6. The chugging player may continue chugging until the opposing team has retrieved the ball, placed on top of their can and yelled STOP.
7. Teammates may work together. One team member can retrieve the ball and pass it their partner.
8. Once the turn is completed it is the opposing teams turn to throw.
9. When a players beer is completed they can no longer throw the ping pong ball. They may however help retrieve the ball for their partner.
10. When both teammates finish their beer they have won.

This game can lead to a lot of alcohol consumption so please walk away if you are starting to feel too intoxicated. Do not over consume. Do not drink and drive.
