Categories drinking game is a word game that has players taking turns saying words that fit a specific category, If they can not think of one they must drink until they can think of something. Categories is also known as “Drink While You Think” in some regions. Categories is a great mini game to add to your Ring of Fire rules or Kings Cup rules.

Setup
Sit in a circle with a drink in front of you. This game can be played with beer, wine or cocktails.
How to Play Categories Drinking Game
Choose a category that everyone has some basic knowledge of.
Example:
- beer brands
- porn stars
- Seth Rogen movies
- things you would find in a dorm room
- Pokemon
- Breeds of dogs
Players go around the circle saying a word that fits this category. No repetitive words. If a player cannot think of a word instantly they must chug their beverage while they think of an appropriate fit for the category.
If a player says something that does not fit the category, or tries to lie, the other players can call bullshit and force them to keep trying.
Drink While You Think involves some chugging, you will want to pick a beverage with a low ABV that goes down smooth. If you need help deciding you can take a peek here.
